NaNoWriMo is slowly creeping up on us. Got some advice for someone trying to do it this year?

While it's my first year doing NaNo, I've been asking around for advice. Here's some of the best I've gotten:
Make an Outline, even if it's just a rough one.
Get a writing buddy, anyone from an IRL friend to someone you only know online or you meet through NaNo itself.
Start planning now, don't wait until November to do so.
Write a little bit each day.
Set Weekly Goals and reward yourself for reaching them.
Have fun!
